In this bonus episode Thomas Jones of the Paradox Process is back and we are talking about LOVE - creating and sustaining the relationship we desire.

Jones hosted The Open Door, a coast-to-coast cable TV show. Former director of the Applied Institute of Psychotherapy, he is now in private practice with a clientele extending internationally. Thomas Jones, creator of the Paradox Process, is my therapist and today’s conversation is one for the books! We talk about the healing modality Thomas uses and how it came to be. In psychotherapy the idea is that if you change your thinking you will change the way you feel. Thomas believes that if you take the feelings away your thoughts collapse. We discuss how you can actually change your personality!! You don’t have to accept your “issues” for what they are.
We then begin speaking about manifesting your dreams. First, you have to believe they are possible. There is also a different energy in wanting something badly and then already acting as if you have it. Thomas speaks on the secret of detaching from your dreams, it’s okay to have them, but it’s in the the needing of them that gets us in trouble.
Lastly, Thomas describes how to visualize and explains the profound effects it can have on your life.

This is a very special episode with my very own mother, Tammy Day. We reminisce about my journey and she shares what it's like watching her child pursue a career in the Biz. She offers an incredible perspective on trust, support, and the "dignity of risk."

We’ve never had a conversation quite like today’s. Josh Grisetti is a Broadway veteran touring with Something Rotten and he gets real about some of the hard spots of touring and doing eight shows a week. It’s all about perspective, baby! He also shares how he keeps a long-running show fresh and shares some funny moments onstage too.
Then in the second half of the episode we explore Josh’s book God in My Head: the True Story of how an Ex-Christian Accidentally met God. That is sure to be fascinating and thought-provoking! Buy your copy here.

In this short and sweet episode, I share with you my belief that we are all Stars and the importance of lighting up from within rather than waiting for someone to give us permission to shine.
You'll hear all about the purpose behind the upcoming online workshop:
What it’s for:
We all want to be a star. We all want to shine our light generously, unapologetically everywhere we go. When we are in our star power we are filled up from the inside --- we don’t look to others for validation, we’re inspired, we’re giving, we’re beautiful, and we’re a magnet for our dreams.
This 2-hour interactive workshop will be a deep dive into your own power. You’ll discover the thoughts that are holding you back and then create a new story. You’ll receive tools and practices designed to support you in shining your light + manifesting your dreams.
Who it’s for:
Anyone who is waiting to be a star.
Whether you’re waiting for your equity card, an agent, your Broadway debut or Tony award - you feel like something is missing and that you’re not where you’re supposed to be.
You’re ready for change.
You’re ready to level up.
You’re ready to start being a STAR today.
I’ve known since season one of ABA that Jane Jourdan would be a guest on Season Two - we collaborated for her blog Fit for Broadway and she’s exactly the kind of high-vibing mover and shaker I love to talk to. In today’s conversation Jane shares her journey from opera singer to successful business owner with all of the ups and downs along the way.

Today’s episode is a rich, inspiring conversation with author and artist, Meera Lee Patel. She shares her long journey to becoming a freelancer who supports herself solely with her art. While she’s not a performing artist like most of our other guests, we all can relate to the dream and seeming sacrifice to attain it. Her newest book, My Friend Fear: Finding Magic in the Unknown, is a stunning, visual feast and we dive into the idea that perhaps fear can be a beautiful friend.

Today’s episode is a beautiful, fun, high-vibrational conversation with Broadway performer and Broadway Life Coach, Bret Shuford.
He gets vulnerable whilst sharing about his sobriety and how it has helped with boundaries, loving and accepting himself, and being of service.
This leads to a deep dive into sobriety and addiction from alcohol to sugar to social media and how we’re not getting what we really need. Once we address the core needs that aren’t being met life opens up in ways we only dream of. Sobriety led to Bret’s first Broadway show. Giving up sugar has brought me incredible ease and freedom.
Bret then opens up about his favorite failure, entrepreneurship, and how he stays in alignment.

Maria Failla is unique from many of my other guests thus far in that she is not a Broadway veteran or master teacher. She considers herself still in the trenches going to open calls, waiting for her big break, and navigating agents. I couldn’t wait to share this episode because she has such a beautiful outlook on the journey and how she maintains balance amongst this crazy Biz. She’s the opposite of a victim and is so open and vulnerable in today’s conversation.
We begin by sharing both of our introductions to ‘The Secret’ and then a juicy, rich convo unfolds filled with tangible steps towards a life of “LESS HUSTLE, MORE JOY.”

Broadway's Sierra Boggess and I gather in the Rosalie dressing room at the Winter Garden Theatre and discuss the greatest gift of our biggest career disappointments — learning that we are not defined by our work. We are so much more. We discuss and explore a plethora practical tools and strategies to get through disappointment and difficult experiences.
Sierra shares her network and team in NYC and recalls Tyne Daly’s advice that “Theatre is a team sport.”
We then go into a wonderful discussion about finding our purpose and how freeing that is.
Finally, Sierra gets REAL. I’m talking, down right vulnerable about how she came to learn her personal mantra “You are enough, you are so enough, it’s unbelievable how enough you are.”

Mark Price is a Broadway veteran, director, acting teacher + founder of the Alchemy Collective where he teaches Vedic meditation. In this episode, we dive into all things meditation. Mark shares how at the height of his Broadway career he was the unhappiest he he’d ever been and how meditation changed his life. We discuss how meditation can change our physiology, its powerful effects and how everyone can meditate. Mark explains what happens when stress hormones are constantly present in our body and how meditation allows more rest than sleep. He also busts the myth of a “bad meditation.” This episode is perfect anyone curious about meditation, but also a great reminder to the experienced meditators.

Jen Waldman, of the Jen Waldman Studio, kicks off Season Two.
She is a highly sought after teacher, director, and choreographer. I’ve loved taking class with her in the past and so enjoyed finally getting to sit down with her and pick her brain.
In this episode, Jen shares one of her most life-changing moments: finding Simon Sinek’s Start with Why. We take a deep dive into what that means and the power behind knowing your Why.
We also talk about the importance of honest feedback and constructive criticism for our growth. Finally, we discuss how actors give their power away (play the victim)…and how to reclaim and step back into your power to live the life you most desire.
